• For the determination of breaking load of clay roofing tiles. The equipment consists of two bearing rollers and one loading roller all 40mm dia. The centre of bearing rollers can be set at 250mm or 270mm. The loading is done through a double lever loading system by means of a steady flow of lead shot from a container into the receiver hung on the lever system.The lead shot flow stops automatically when the specimen fails. The lead shot can be weighed and the load taken by the tile calculated by multiplying by the lever ratio is i.e. 12.

Specification: 

• The Flexure Strength Testing Machines are designed to provide maximum rigidity throughout their working range. The load is applied by the upward movement of a hydraulic ram. The jack can be raised or lowered for testing different size beams. The load is indicated on a calibrated Bourdon tube type Pressure Gauge of range: 0-100kN x 0.5kN (0-10,000 kgf x 50 Kgf). The load gauge is calibrated against NPL/ NCCBM certified proving ring.
